Tie It Up with Pals Paper Arts

That’s the Challenge at the PPA this week.  I haven’t entered a challenge in so long I thought it was about time to give it a try.  There’s still time if you would like to enter, the link doesn’t close until Noon today.

This is my entry ~

        024

I have an extremely difficult time taking pictures of cards, but this one was ridiculous.  I took so many that I actually got tired!  I even tried using Cherry Cobbler for the background, I didn’t like that either. *smiles*  I have to guess that it was because I used Brushed Silver, Rhinestones, Dazzling Diamonds and a shimmery silver ribbon not to mention the Shimmery White cardstock.  Too much glam for my photography skills! *smile*

Here’s a closer look ~

          010

This gives you a little better view of the Dazzling Diamonds.   Rhinestones were added for a little more bling.

Tip:  My bow was made with wired ribbon!

Here’s the inside ~

                    007

This is a good view of the 3D effect of the wreath.  A couple sprigs of pine finishes off the inside.

Have a great day everybody and thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. If you don't win the Challenge, then it's rigged. I've never seen any card as sophisticated and elegant.

What a shame it would be to cram it in an envelope and let the postal service squish it.
